At Reuse and Recycle, we’re passionate about changing the way you think about waste. We’re a local group of sustainability and social justice enthusiasts dedicated to bettering our environment and our community.

We reduce landfill waste while also providing opportunities for training, employment and volunteering across Hervey Bay, Maryborough and the Fraser Coast Region. Our professionals provide consulting and staffing solutions for the waste industry, creating employment opportunities and environmental benefits to our entire community.

About us

We’re a multi-award winning not-for-profit social enterprise group providing waste management services and resource recovery operations across the Fraser Coast region. With over 35 dedicated staff members, we’ve managed to return over $250,000 worth of donations back into the Hervey Bay, Maryborough communities and the Fraser Coast Region. Our professionals are committed to fostering environmental and social justice change.

For the environment

Reuse and Recycle are all about reducing the impact of unused, unwanted and tossed out items on the environment. By offering a convenient collection service and Market Sales Centres, we minimise the likelihood and impact of usable items in our landfills. Our talented team members and creative community are able to repurpose and recraft recyclable goods into unique projects and inspiring new products for community use.

For the community

In addition to supporting our environment, we’re also dedicated to giving back to our community. Our recycling and Market Sales Centre success allows us to provide community members with a range of employment and training opportunities. We offer volunteering, skill building and accredited training opportunities that allow for participation and contribution to the community. More often than not, experience with us leads to rewarding employment.
